Tax Aide

Items to bring with you to most tax appointments will likely include:

• A photo ID.
• Proof of all income, including Social Security benefits.
• Proof of medical insurance coverage for each person on the return.
• For joint returns — both persons must be present.
• Your previous year’s return.

Following the TA program shutdown in 2020, we have experienced a significant loss of TA volunteers for the Tax Year 2021 season.  We need to reduce the number of days we take appointments as a result.  

It would be appreciated if only people who MUST file a return use our services.  If you are filing a return to have one available for other services, we can accomodate you after April 15th.

We are also looking for new volunteer tax counslers — training will be provided.  If interested, please contact the SRC for more information.
